Sam is an Architectural Assistant at dRMM. He studied at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, graduating with a Master’s degree. Sam worked at a top New Zealand practice on the design and delivery of a number of higher education projects before joining dRMM. These projects were driven by a strong focus on both the user’s experience, and the provision of welcoming spaces on campus for the wider community. During this time, he also gained valuable experience working with BIM.

At dRMM Sam is working on two affordable housing schemes in Newham; projects that allow him to pursue his interests in residential, and socially positive architecture. He is involved in the developed design and detailing of the buildings’ envelopes, as well as integrating BIM into the project workflow. In his spare time Sam enjoys exploring new cities, non-competitive tennis, and pointing a camera at the places and spaces he visits.
