Raphael graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture de Versailles in France and went on to complete a year’s study in Buenos Aires’ FADU. He built upon his educational experience by gaining hands-on experience on construction sites before joining dRMM Architects. This work deepened his interest in the full lifecycle of the construction process and design precision.
Prior to joining dRMM, Raphael worked in Paris at Baillon-Henrion and Bruther, focusing on the design of sport and education public facilities for competitive public sector contracts. At dRMM he was a key member on the Battersea Power Station housing project overseeing structural coordination and other interior packages, but also worked on the landmark project, Endless Stair, for the London Design Festival 2013. More recently, Raphael was involved with the practice’s residential projects of Maidenhead and East Ham, gaining more experience in residential project design.
