Matteo is an architect at dRMM and is currently working on the design development of a large residential scheme in London.
He graduated with distinction from the University of Florence with a Masters thesis on the environmental system of a kindergarten, where he was able to experiment with that which he most enjoys: giving ideas a shape. Since then, he has been attracted to the study of spatial qualities and how they can encourage or limit functionality and interactivity. He broadened his research in 2018 with a Masters degree in Environmental psychology, focusing on the influence of built environments on human living, with particular emphasis on carceral spaces and healthcare. Before leaving Italy, he worked with offices of various sizes on projects of diverse scale. In his spare time, Matteo is learning to play guitar and experiments with scientific cooking techniques.
