Laura Nica

Laura is a recently qualified Architect, completing both her Part I and Part II with Distinction at the University of Westminster (UoW). Prior to joining dRMM, Laura gained experience working at Foster + Partners and Wilkinson Eyre on mixed-use masterplans, infrastructure and residential developments across the UK, Asia and the USA.

At dRMM, Laura is currently working on a large regeneration masterplan, developing designs for Phase I of the scheme. Laura’s broader interests extend to material research, digital fabrication and sustainable design. She is a Visiting Lecturer at the UoW – centring the research on climate change, the use of data and computational processes to inform architecture in the age of the Anthropocene. Out of the practice, she enjoys travelling, skiing and building pavilions.
