dRMM director Alex de Rijke is collaborating with Barnby & Day, designers and furniture makers from Hay, to create a unique piece of furniture from laminated timber.

The team will be working together for the London Design Festival (LDF) 2014 initiative titled, What I have always wanted is. The scheme is being spearheaded by Sir Terence Conran on collaboration with Benchmark and the American Hardwood Export Council.

The results will be unveiled in September at the V&A museum as part of this year’s LDF programme.
