Studio Director Jonas Lencer will be participating in a panel discussion as part of the British Council’s International Architecture Showcase in this year’s London Festival of Architecture.
The discussion will centre on émigré architects and their role within London’s architectural past, present and future. The panel will discuss the importance of new perspectives and international voices within the capital.
The event will take place on Saturday 21st June between 5-6pm on the roof of the Balfron Tower. For more information visit the British Council’s event page.
dRMM director Alex de Rijke is collaborating with Barnby & Day, designers and furniture makers from Hay, to create a unique piece of furniture from laminated timber.
The team will be working together for the London Design Festival (LDF) 2014 initiative titled, What I have always wanted is…. The scheme is being spearheaded by Sir Terence Conran on collaboration with Benchmark and the American Hardwood Export Council.
The results will be unveiled in September at the V&A museum as part of this year’s LDF programme.
