‘HOUSING LONDON’ EXHIBITION - 31-10-2012

Two of dRMM’s projects will be showcased at the ‘Housing London’ exhibition, organised by theNLA (London’s Centre for the Built Environment).

The exhibition runs for eight weeks at The Building Centre and will examine the current housing situation in London. It is accompanied by a publication, conference and a series of talks, all addressing ‘the issues affecting the design and delivery of London’s homes.’

dRMM will be showcasing two of its housing projects within the exhibition – the Wansey Street project, which was the pilot project for the Elephant & Castle regeneration masterplan, and the Harper Square, designed as an urban square in Southwark.

TALKING TIMBER - 26-10-2012

Tower of Love

Associate director Jonas Lencer discusses cross laminated timber in his talk titled ‘Tower of Love – Making a CLT Building’. The talk will take place on Thursday 1st November at The Building Centre, London.

Jonas will use as a case study dRMM’s ‘Tower of Love’ project, which was completed in Blackpool in November 2011. His talk forms part of the second instalment of an event series entitled: Engineered Timber Series.

The event begins at 9am and ends at 1.30pm. Entrance is free, online booking is required
